The classic boiled ham is an American staple and a staple of the American diet.
But if you don’t like meat, you can cook your own and get some really delicious results.
Here’s how to make your own boiled ham, which is so good it’s not even funny.
It can be made with pork, chicken, pork shoulder, turkey or veal, but here we’ll be making it with ham.
We’ll use boneless, skinless pork chops and chicken breasts.
The chops will be sliced lengthwise, but if you prefer, you could also use boned pork shoulder or chicken thighs.
Cut the meat into pieces about 1-1/2 inches in length.
If you like your pork chops, you might want to cut them into pieces smaller than the thigh pieces, as this will make the meat easier to slice.
The ham will be cut into 1-inch chunks and cooked over medium heat.
You can use an immersion blender or the like to make the ham easier to remove.
Once the ham is cooked, you’ll need to cut it into chunks of varying thickness.
For my ham, I like to use an 8-inch round piece.
For the chicken breasts, I used the 9-inch version, which means the pieces should be about 8-inches in length and about the same thickness.
You’ll want to make sure the pieces are evenly cooked.
After the ham has been cooked, the slices should be nice and dry.
To get the most tender, remove the ham pieces from the pan and set aside.
To cook the meat, add the chicken, turkey, pork or veable to the pan.
Once the meat has been added, add a little water and bring to a boil.
Once it boils, the meat should be cooked.
You may need to add more water as the meat cooks, but not to the point that the meat will cook through.
Once all the meat is cooked and the water is reduced, the ham will need to be removed from the pot.
Once you’re done with the meat pieces, transfer the pieces to a platter or a bowl and set them aside.
To prepare the gravy, you will need a saucepan.
The saucepan should be wide enough to cover the ham and pork, but it should be not too large.
The pan should be at least 3 inches in diameter.
Put the ham into the saucepan, but be sure not to get it too hot.
You want the sauce to boil quickly, so don’t let it get too hot and the ham won’t be tender.
Next, add in some brown sugar, salt and pepper.
Let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, add some freshly ground black pepper.
When the sauce has reduced to a simmer, add your ham pieces.
Remove the ham from the sauce.
Let them sit for a few minutes to allow the flavor to develop.
Then remove the meat from the ham.
Next add your cooked pork, and the chicken.
Season the chicken with salt and freshly ground pepper, then place the chicken in the sauce and stir.
Let it simmer for another 10 minutes, until all of the juices are absorbed.
Next, you want to add in the cream, butter, and flour.
Cook the mixture for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until it becomes thick.
Then add in your shredded ham, and stir the mixture into the cream mixture.
Serve the sauce on top of the ham, or place the ham in the gravy and sprinkle with some grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
